That’s a node-locked license that is only serving workstation licenses. The ERR: No such feature exists. Feature: krakatoa-max-render part is saying that the license does not support render nodes. We typically don’t include render nodes in a node-locked license because you can start unlimited copies of workstation mode 3dsMax + Krakatoa. Is there any particular reason that you want to use a render-node in this manner (assuming this is on Matthias-PC)?
You would not necessarily need a floating license since you a single machine uses a single license, regardless of the number of instances of Krakatoa currently running on it. In your case, you could do this manually by starting max 8 times and running the particle saving stuff. The part that is holding you back is that a render node license was not included in the license you received, only workstation licenses. Check your email, I have sent you an updated license.
